1. Outline of revisions

(1) Revision of target chemicals Link
Class I Designated Chemical Substances: from 354 to 462 substances
    (Specific Class I Designated Chemical Substances: from 12 to 15 substances)
Class II Designated Chemical Substances: from 81 to 100 substances
(2) Revision of target business categories
Medical service is added (from 23 to 24 business categories)

2. Schedule for revisions

MSDS System: Provision of MSDS about new target chemicals was started on October 1st, 2009.
PRTR System:  The revised list of target chemicals will be effectived from FY2010 data (FY2011 reporting).
